SUPPORT LIVE MUSIC AT THE CREEK!
Reminder: Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 at 6pm Morgan Creek Grill will appear in front of the Isle of Palms City Council to present our test plan for the reduction of the level of music emanating from the grounds of the restaurant.
We will be presenting our complete test plan and answering questions of the Council Members. It is our goal for our test plan to be approved by Council that evening so that we may make the necessary renovations to the stage area and grounds in order to accommodate amplified music at decibel levels reasonable and acceptable to the surrounding residents of the Marina.
Any citizens who wish to show their support may do so by attending the meeting to be held at 6pm on Tuesday 3/31/2015 at City Hall and speaking up during the Citizen’s comments at the beginning of the meeting. We have had outstanding support from the community this far and are greatly appreciative of those who have spoken before. It is important for the Council members to recognize that live entertainment is good for not only our business but adds to the enjoyment of our guest, residents and visitors alike.
A general overview of our test plan includes building a new stage incorporating sound absorbing and blocking materials in order to reduce the level of decibels emanating from the property. We have conducted/established baseline test levels with our engineering team from which to work toward the goals established that should prove to be acceptable to all of the surrounding neighborhoods.
